10 Family Friendly Halloween Movies to watch (and where to find them)

Can you believe we’re already in the middle of October?! I feel like there are still so many things I need to do before this month ends! Pumpkin patches, haunted corn mazes, all the apple cider and pumpkin pies. Something that I haven’t done yet is binge on all my favorite movies either! Isn’t that sad? Because I’m an especially nice person, I’ll share these with you, and where to find them so you can get your movie marathon on!

Hocus Pocus

What a stinking classic! Found on Youtube, Amazon Prime, and Vudu from $2.99

HalloweenTown

Also a wonderfully nostalgic movie from my childhood. Found on DisneyNow for FREE, Amazon Prime $3.99, and Youtube $5.99

Twitches

Y’all, I am a HUGE fan of the Mowry sisters, and this is a good one for sure! Found on DisneyNow for FREE, Amazon Prime $3.99, and Youtube $5.99

Goosebumps Movies

These movies that I’m specifically talking about are the newer ones with Jack Black, but if you want to catch the older series it is all on Netflix! The first movie is on Amazon Prime and Vudu from $2.99. Goosebumps 2 is on Netflix

Mostly Ghostly

This is an R.L. Stein movie, so I thought it would be good because Goosebumps, right? It’s not bad, but it’s a very cheesy (but cute) movie. Find this on Netflix

Little Monsters

It’s an interesting movie. It’s old, it’s cheesy, and it’s cute. Catch this on Netflix

Casper

Um, can you say classic?! Casper was literally just on Netflix a couple of weeks ago, but it may not be anymore. But you can find it on Youtube for $3.99

Coraline

Not really a Halloween movie, but this movie is creepy and spooky in it’s own ways. You can also catch this on Netflix

The Nightmare before Christmas

The biggest debate of all time: Is this a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie? You decide! I’m pretty sure this is on Netflix as well. But if not, catch it on Youtube and Amazon Prime from $2.99

Mickey’s House of Villains

For the super littles! But honestly, this short movie full of many creepy tales is incredibly adorable and makes you remember your classic Disney favorites. Find this on Netflix!

Well, I hope you got some new ideas of movies to watch with your family! And if these weren’t really new movies to you, well at least I reminded you to go watch them! Warm up a bowl of popcorn, snuggle up under a big blanket, and enjoy.
