3 Day Cleanse

A couple of weeks ago, I started a new cleanse. I had been on a few different cleanses in my life, so I came into this thinking that it was going to be a difficult 3 days. But somehow I pushed through, and I was actually incredibly happy with how I felt throughout and after the cleanse! I was in better moods, my skin was glowy, and I was on the right path to nurturing my body. I’m not going to lie though, the day after my cleanse I took my ass to Chik Fil A for a chicken sandwich (insert shamefully covering my eyes emojis). It didn’t even taste as good as I thought it was going to be, unfortunately.

In this post, you’ll be hearing the exact meal plan I ate, my measurements before and after, and even some pictures! Curious? Read on! Meal planning

Day 1


  • 8-10 ounces water
  • Shakeology blended in 10 ounces of water
  • 1 serving of an apple (1/2 a medium sized one)
  • An hour after that, the “really tasty” Fiber sweep. Honestly, the fiber sweep doesn’t taste bad, but if you don’t drink it really quick it can be a texture not so desired.


  • Vanilla Fresh shake
  • 1 serving of strawberries (12 medium)
  • 1 serving of baby carrots (4-5)
  • 1 serving of a healthy fat (2 TBS mashed avocado)

Afternoon Snack

  • 1 serving broccoli (3/4 cups of florets)
  • 1 serving of healthy snack (2 TBS mashed avocado)


  • Vanilla Fresh shake
  • 1 serving of the Dinner recipes provided in the booklet for the 3 day refresh. I chose to do the asparagus recipe, which consisted of asparagus, sliced almonds, olive oil and sea salt. AND, I got to have 8 of stalks. Insert miserable awkward laugh here)
  • 1 cup organic vegetable broth

Day 2


  • The other half of the apple from the previous day.
  • Cafe Latte Shakeology
  • 8-10 ounces of cold water
  • Fiber Sweep 1 hour after breakfast


  • Vanilla Fresh Shake
  • 2/3 cups blueberries
  • 3/4 cups of steamed broccoli florets
  • 1 serving of a healthy fat (2 TBS mashed avocado)

Afternoon snack

  • 1 small red bell pepper
  • 1 serving of a healthy fat (2TBS hummus)


  • Vanilla fresh shake
  • For Day 2, I did the coconut steamed veggies recipe. OMG, THIS WAS SO GOOD. All it was was 1 serving of broccoli, cauliflower, and sliced carrots, with a tablespoon of coconut oil and a pinch of sea salt, but it was insanely reeeaaally good. And it surprisingly really filled me up.
  • 1 cup organic vegetable broth

Day 3


  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 1 Cafe Latte shakeology
  • Fiber sweep one hour after breakfast


  • 1 cup sliced cucumber
  • Vanilla Fresh shake
  • Other half of the banana
  • 1 serving healthy fat (1 1/2 Tsp of almond butter)

Afternoon snack

  • 2 medium stalks of celery
  • 1 serving healthy snack (1 1/2 Tsp of almond butter)


  • Vanilla Fresh shake
  • Not going to lie, for dinner I had the coconut steamed veggies again because they were THAT good.
  • 1 cup vegetable broth

And there you have it! When you get all your materials before starting the cleanse, you get a couple of booklets that really go into detail about what you can eat, how to maintain healthy eating goals after the cleanse, 9 different dinner recipes, and even suggestions of different vegetables to eat if you’re worried about gas being an issue. Funny story, but I did this cleanse with 3 of my other coworkers in my cubicle and we were all worried that we’d be farting up our area, and running to the bathroom, because cleanse, right? But that wasn’t the case at all during these 3 days.

All in all, I think this cleanse was worth it and a great experience. I’d say it was probably even one of the best cleanses I had ever done, because I was actually able to eat a ton of food during the three days! I was able to drink coffee or tea, and keep myself satisfied and you bet I was pretty satisfied with how I felt afterwards. I felt a little slimmer, my skin was glowy, and it really paved the way for me to start eating healthier! Now, are you ready for some before and after pictures?

Sorry about the laundry everywhere, we were in the middle of sorting and folding laundry and then I remembered I was supposed to take a before picture. What do you think so far? Do you see a difference? I honestly didn’t see a huge difference, but I did when I stepped on the scale and saw that a lost a couple of pounds after the cleanse. Still not convinced?
